What data does this site process?

a11y examples does not provide user accounts, advertising, payments, or an on-site contact form. The site loads an analytics script from a self-hosted Umami service at umami.kportal.to to understand aggregate site usage and improve the educational content.

The analytics service may receive ordinary web-request information such as the requested page, referring page, browser and device characteristics, and network information needed to deliver the request. The site does not intentionally use analytics to identify individual visitors or build advertising profiles.

What third-party services are linked?

Pages link to external references, including W3C, MDN, WebAIM, GitHub, and assistive-technology documentation. Following those links is subject to each destination’s own privacy practices. The source repository and public issue tracker are hosted by GitHub.

What should I avoid sharing?

Do not post passwords, health information, private user data, or other sensitive information in a public GitHub issue. If you include diagnostic information in a report, remove personal data first.
